The NATH Foundation came into being with the objective of supporting the underprivileged in our society. Promoted by Nath Pariwar (family), the Foundation began its activities in West Bengal in 2008. Today, the activities are limited to under developed countries with special focus on India and Africa. Our belief that every life has equal value is at the core of our work at the foundation. We follow 13 guiding principles, which help define our approach to our philanthropic work, and employ an outstanding leadership team to direct our strategies and grant making.
The foundation trustees also donate funds to charitable organizations that are purely of philanthropic and charitable in nature with non-sectarian, non-communal and non-political character and outlook. MS Swaminathan Research Foundation and Rotary International Foundation are two of the nonprofits who are benefiting from our integrated model. The Foundation primarily focuses by providing education scholarships and basic facilities for empowerment, benefiting a large number of individuals in particularly women and institutions focused in empowering women from underprivileged society.

M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) was registered in 1988 as a non-profit Trust. The basic mandate of MSSRF is to impart a pro-nature, pro-poor and pro-women orientation to a job-led economic growth strategy in rural areas through harnessing science and technology for environmentally sustainable and socially equitable development. The Foundation operates through the following pathways to agricultural and rural development: conservation and enhancement of natural resources, promotion of sustainable livelihoods, gender equity and voicing the voiceless as well as information and skill empowerment. Through the Hindu Media Resource Centre the Foundation promotes public understanding of science through media practitioners. The Foundation is known for its emphasis on bottom-up participatory approach, which places people before technology.
The funds received through this program are donated to MSSRF for the conservation and enhancement of natural resources, promotion of sustainable livelihoods, gender equity and voicing the voiceless as well as information and skill empowerment.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF,a 59-year Halloween tradition beloved by generations, is one of America's longest-running youth philanthropy programs.
In 1950 a group of young Philadelphia trick-or-treaters, along with their pastor, began the tradition of knocking on doors for UNICEF on Halloween. Since then Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF has empowered generations to save kids lives in their global community through education and fundraising during the Halloween season.
Last year, kids with their families, schools and communities raised more than $4.5 million dollars and over $144 million dollars to date. This year, I'm Making Halloween Count by Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF online and hope you'll support me.
Below, you will find a link to my own Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF fundraising webpage. It takes seconds to make a donation, and you can give any amount, a little or a lot. Since it's so easy to make an impact, I hope you'll support me in this important cause.
Sincerely,
IndranilNath
